Rosedale Green will break the mold of traditional nursing home care by creating a community of residents, family members, caregivers, and supporters who come together to live enriched, engaged, and meaningful lives. As this vision unfolds, others in our profession will look to Rosedale as a beacon for what senior living should be.
We are confident that the vision we have for the future will unfold because we are 100% committed to implementing culture change and the household model of care at Rosedale Green. In fact, this journey is already well on its way as culture change is occurring in the way our residents live their lives, and plans are already gaining momentum to completely renovate our building to pave the way for households.
The household concept provides multiple benefits through social involvement, including decreased boredom, loneliness and depression. Households work cooperatively as a family unit, making democratic decisions, collaborating and working in partnerships. Outings and events are planned together—everything from menus to social gatherings.
Rosedale Green provides a community of care for residents that honors their past, enriches their present, and empowers their future.
As a not-for-profit facility, we are able to stay focused on our mission without regard to the financial status of potential and current residents. We are driven solely by compassion and our desire to give individuals the care that helps them enjoy dignified and fulfilling lives.
